On-set

Managing a film, tv series production requires an experienced cinematographer. I have years of experience working in studio, on location in both rural and urban centres around the world. I can assemble a camera team that is best suited for your needs ensuring an effective professional approach while meeting industry recognized skills, approach and etiquette while on an active set.

Knowledge:

Fundamentals in photography. I have years of experience exposing film; understands exposure and chemistry reaction to film emulsions. Thomas began studying film making at a very young age and still carries today, the pride and energy he had then. Its rare not to see Thomas in a scenario where he isn’t engaged in some sort of creative endeavour - usually involving a camera and lights. The desire to expand my knowledge is ongoing as I am well versed with various Digital Cinema workflows such as ARRI REVEAL, SONY CINE ALTA, CANON, RED. In addition I am now offering my skill sets regarding LED volume set production. Always learning and adapting to emerging styles and trends.

People person:

I am a people person yet a consummate professional. I encourage and promote a quiet calm filming environment and insist that who or whatever is in front of the camera receives the utmost care and attention at or around the camera.

I am a leader on set and knows how best to achieve what is needed; a collaborative and meaningful understanding of creative and how best to get those ideas and dreams to screen.
